The Impact of Electromagnetic Field (EMF) on the Environment Project

Absrtact
The objectives of this project include: to collect analyze the latest international information on non-ionizing radiation research and control; to analyze the information on the domestic non-ionizing radiation protection measures; to analyze the latest international environmental non-ionizing radiation monitoring technologies and to assess the feasibility of implementation in the domestic environment; in selected locations, to perform environmental non-ionizing radiation monitoring for more than 20 days, and to assess their impact on the environment. This project collected relevant literatures on non-ionizing radiation research and control from international authoritative organizations include WHO, EN, IEEE, FCC and EHP, and completed analysis of these literatures. In domestic part, the related regulations and published studies of the National Communications Commission and the Department of health are also analyzed. In addition, the non-ionizing radiation monitoring methods and the status of Italy, Switzerland, and France are also collected and analyzed. According to the above analyzing results and considering the domestic electromagnetic wave environment, by using appropriate monitoring techniques and equipment, we completed more than 20 days non-ionizing radiation monitoring in urban areas, townships, hot zone, base stations and sensitive use areas, etc.. The results of monitoring were used to calculate the total exposure ratio (TER). Based on TER, the non-ionizing radiation impact on the environment is evaluated.
